The Details:
Grace Haven began when two local families recognized a need for a respite program to help families caring for aging loved ones in need of support. The Lutheran church was approached and led this community endeavor. The organization is now overseen by a community Board of Directors and is primarily government funded by the Northwest LHIN. Our locations are fully wheelchair accessible, bright, cheery, and located in residential neighbourhoods.

The local community members on the Board of Directors at Grace Haven determine its Mission and Vision. Clients and families are consulted in all areas of planning activities.

Grace Haven is a fun place where staff and volunteers enjoy making a meaningful contribution and where program members and their families feel embraced by a caring community.
