Ours is to “walk beside”, in all ways, respectful of the client’s journey and their need to do the work of this journey. It is not ours to do for them; it is ours to walk with. If we impose our opinions, judgments, biases, etc. we either take away their power or impose an additional burden on them. By entering with them through empathic involvement we can provide clients with the best chance to see their way more clearly and easily. They can travel their way with the lightness that comes from being seen, understood, valued and loved without conditions t upon that caring. What better gift to receive –what better gift to give.”

Our Vision:
Grace Haven will continue to provide exceptional programming and will continue to seek out new programs to expand services to more individuals requiring increased stimulation, support and friendship while aging or caring for an aging loved one.
Grace Haven will take a lead role in facilitating the integration of seniors in community planning.
Grace Haven will continue to work in collaboration with other community supports to recognize gaps in service and strategize to fill these gaps to improve quality of life to all seniors.
Grace Haven reaches out to the community to educate each person on pertinent issues and goals.
